This KS1 Teacher role offers a full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing opportunity starting in September 2026. The KS1 Teacher will play a key role in delivering engaging and well-structured teaching that supports pupils during a vital stage of their learning journey. This role is ideal for a dedicated KS1 Teacher who enjoys creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment and supporting children to build strong foundations in learning.
Duties as KS1 Teacher:- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
- Use assessment to monitor progress and inform teaching
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of pupils with a range of abilities
- Promote positive behaviour, routines, and independence
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and colleagues
- Build positive relationships with pupils, families, and staff
- Support transitions within Key Stage 1
- Uphold safeguarding, welfare, and health and safety responsibilities at all times
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
- Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and child development
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Creative, patient, and nurturing teaching approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and committed to a long-term role
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
