Pay: £120 - £130 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Temporary with the opportunity to become permanent

Are you an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity? We're working with a welcoming and supportive school in Bedlington to recruit a dedicated HLTA to support teaching and learning across Key Stage 2.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic HLTA who enjoys leading learning, delivering interventions and occasionally covering whole classes. You'll work closely with teaching staff to ensure pupils receive engaging, high-quality learning experiences and are supported to reach their full potential.
About the RoleAs a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you'll:
- Deliver planned lessons to whole classes during teacher release time.
- Lead small group and one-to-one interventions to accelerate pupil progress.
- Support teaching and learning across Key Stage 2.
- Work alongside class teachers to plan and deliver engaging learning activities.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
- Support pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEND where required.
We're looking for candidates who are:
- Qualified as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or hold an equivalent qualification.
- Experienced working within a primary school, ideally in Key Stage 2.
- Confident leading whole-class learning and delivering interventions.
- Flexible, organised and proactive in supporting teaching and learning.
- Passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.
- Hold (or are willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
