Kitchen Team Leader / Chef de Partie - Sports Bar Whinfell Forest £15.05 per hour plus tips

Sports Café serves hearty meals and shows live sports in a lively, family-friendly setting.

What you'll be doing
  • Oversee daily food preparation and presentation to company standards
  • Coach and mentor junior colleagues to support their growth
  • Act as deputy for the Assistant Kitchen Manager when required
  • Monitor stock, portion control and ordering to manage costs effectively
  • Implement measures to reduce food waste and maintain operational efficiency

Your working hours
  • Full-time contract, shifts fall between 8:00am and 11:30pm, varying between 4 to 8 hours in length
  • You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 150 hours over a 4-week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
  • This role includes early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays

  • Excellent communicatorwith ability to build relationships with colleagues
  • Previouskitchen experience in a similar position
  • Naturally cheerful, patient and friendly
  • Professional, approachable and calm under pressure
