About the Role

Connex Education is currently recruiting a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Weston-super-Mare from September 2026.

What You'll Be Doing

Planning and delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum

Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment

Assessing, monitoring and supporting pupil progress to ensure every child reaches their potential

Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and school leaders

Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and carers

Promoting high standards of behaviour, wellbeing and achievement

What We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching within a primary school setting, ideally in Key Stage 1

Applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are warmly welcomed

Excellent classroom management and communication skills

A creative, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to teaching

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Connex Education
