For one of our clients, an international player in the pharmaceutical sector, we are looking for a Junior Scientist - Liquid Chromatography. This position is based in Beerse, Belgium, and offers the unique opportunity to contribute to innovative pharmaceutical developments.
Your Role
Our client is a leading pharmaceutical company dedicated to the research, development, and production of innovative medicines. At their site in Beerse, the Clinical Release and Stability (CRS) team plays a key role in supporting drug development by performing timely release and stability testing for Drug Substances (DS) and Drug Products (DP) from early clinical phases up to registration.
As a Junior Scientist - Liquid Chromatography, you will be responsible for supporting analytical activities within a GMP environment, with a strong focus on liquid chromatography techniques.
Your main tasks include:
- Performing analytical testing for product characterization, method qualification/validation, release, and stability studies.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, analytical methods, GMP, and safety regulations.
- Evaluating and interpreting generated data to support decision-making in development projects.
- Collaborating with different teams and being adaptable to changing project needs while maintaining core responsibilities.
- Balancing laboratory work (approx. 3 days per week) with data analysis and reporting.
Your Profile
- Degree: Master's in a scientific field or a Bachelor's with relevant work experience.
- Experience: Hands-on experience with liquid chromatography is required, ideally gained through internships or previous roles in a laboratory environment.
- Skills & Mindset: Independent, proactive, and eager to learn. You maintain high-quality standards in experiments and take ownership of your work.
- Languages: Fluent in English and Dutch (spoken and written).
- Work Location: Beerse
- Availability: Full-time, onsite (5 days per week) due to the nature of laboratory work.
