Junior Quality Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Support quality control and assurance activities within industrial projects;
• Perform inspections and verify compliance with technical specifications and quality standards;
• Assist in the management of non-conformities and implementation of corrective actions;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, engineering, suppliers) to ensure product quality;
• Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of quality documentation and reports;
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization activities.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technical Diploma (Mechanical field);
• Recent graduate or very short initial experience (internship or up to 1 year);
• Basic knowledge of quality principles and industrial processes;
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings;
• Native Portuguese speaker (mandatory);
• Good knowledge of English;
• Availability to work in Porto area.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of quality tools (e.g., FMEA, 8D, Root Cause Analysis);
• Familiarity with ISO standards;
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset;
• Ability to work in a structured and multinational environment.
