AYES, a multinational leader in engineering and technology consulting, is expanding rapidly both in Italy and abroad, and is currently looking for a Junior Quality Engineer to join a project based in Porto, Portugal.

Responsibilities:
- Support quality control and assurance activities within industrial projects;
- Perform inspections and verify compliance with technical specifications and quality standards;
- Assist in the management of non-conformities and implementation of corrective actions;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, engineering, suppliers) to ensure product quality;
- Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of quality documentation and reports;
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization activities.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technical Diploma (Mechanical field);
- Recent graduate or very short initial experience (internship or up to 1 year);
- Basic knowledge of quality principles and industrial processes;
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings;
- Native Portuguese speaker (mandatory);
- Good knowledge of English;
- Availability to work in Porto area.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of quality tools (e.g., FMEA, 8D, Root Cause Analysis);
- Familiarity with ISO standards;
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset;
- Ability to work in a structured and multinational environment.
