In this role, you will support the planning function by ensuring the timely availability of raw materials, maintaining accurate system data, and helping to keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is a hands-on, site-based role offering the opportunity to develop your skills in supply chain and planning while contributing to operational continuity and efficiency.

What you'll do

Support planning and supply activities to ensure materials availability and smooth operations:

  • Manage purchase orders and supplier communication

  • Monitor supplier lead times and follow up on deliveries

  • Maintain accurate data in ERP systems (MRP)

  • Support inventory management and stock optimisation

  • Identify and resolve supply or stock issues

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment

Who we're looking for

  • Experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, or similar roles is a plus

  • Open to junior profiles with strong interest in planning

  • Good Excel and system skills (ERP experience is an advantage)

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset

  • Good communication skills and team collaboration

Location & Details

  • Location: Ashbourne, UK

  • Work model: On-site

  • Contract: 12-18 months (maternity cover)
