About Leaders of Trade

Leaders of Trade is one of Europe's fastest-growing communities for retail and trade leaders. We connect senior retail executives, innovative brands, and future-forward solution providers through high-impact conferences and networking experiences.

We've hosted events across Europe with leaders from IKEA, Amazon, Unilever, L'Oréal and many more. Now, we're building a world-class team to take our events to the next level - and you could be a key part of it

Why Join Us?

  • Hands-on Experience: You'll work directly with our team and get a full behind-the-scenes look at building top-tier business events.
  • Real Responsibility: We'll trust you to take ownership of projects - and support you every step of the way.
  • Career Opportunity: If you're a strong fit, you'll have the chance to grow into a full-time role in marketing or events after the internship.
  • Unmatched Exposure: You'll interact with top decision-makers from across Europe - from major FMCG and retail brands to Big Four consulting firms, tech giants like Amazon, and founders of high-growth startups. This is your chance to build a network most graduates only dream of.

What You'll Be Doing

This is an operations-first role - perfect if you're organized, curious, and ready to learn:

  • Researching and sourcing leads (attendees, sponsors, media, startups, etc.)
  • Updating and managing CRM databases
  • Assisting with ticketing and registration follow-up
  • Supporting email and LinkedIn marketing tasks
  • Responding to inbox queries and messages
  • Helping with operational and admin tasks across the marketing team

No experience in events or marketing is required - just a strong work ethic, good communication, and a mindset to grow.

Who You Are

  • You're proactive, detail-oriented, and love organizing things
  • You communicate clearly and professionally in English
  • You're curious, open to feedback, and want to grow your skills
  • You're comfortable with remote work and take ownership of your tasks

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience using LinkedIn, Excel, PowerPoint or CRM tools (HubSpot, Notion, Pipedrive, etc.)
  • Interest in business, marketing, or the startup world
  • Speak Danish or another EU language (not required)
