We are looking to hire a Junior IT Engineer to join our Enterprise Services Team in Technology. This role offers the opportunity to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment, supporting critical IT systems and services, with plenty of opportunities to influence and grow within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for IT systems, infrastructure, and services, including servers, networks, and end-user devices.
  • Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and security of IT end-user systems and services, proactively addressing issues and vulnerabilities.
  • Configure, deploy, and manage IT systems and services to support business operations, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams, departments, and stakeholders to implement IT projects and initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Participate in planning, designing, and implementing IT solutions, including hardware, software, and cloud-based services.
  • Document technical configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines for reference and training.
  • Assist with user training and support activities to optimize productivity and resolve technical issues.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, applying knowledge to drive innovation.
  • Provide technical guidance to other IT team members, serving as a subject matter expert in specific IT areas.
Required Skills:
  • Working knowledge of end-user computing & networking troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP).
  • Experience with IT infrastructure, systems administration, network management, and end-user support.
  • Experience with Service Management or Ticketing Tools like Jira Service Management, ServiceNow.
  • Experience with IDP platforms such as Okta, Azure.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to analyze business processes and procedures.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Service-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to manage change and handle difficult situations.
  • Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in deploying and managing IT systems in heterogeneous environments, including Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with network devices like Fortigate, Ubiquiti, Cisco.
  • Experience with MDM platforms such as Jamf Pro, Workspace One, Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
  • Experience with Google Workspace.
  • Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Understanding of APIs.
  • Knowledge of client-server and web-based application architectures.
  • Ability to design and implement practical solutions for complex requirements.
