Who You'll Work With
As a Junior Consultant you will work within our Consulting practice at our Amsterdam office. You will be working in teams of 2 - 3 analysts, consultants and / or project leads as an active contributor in every client project. You will play a pivotal role in consulting engagements across both consumer and B2B sectors, tackling a diverse spectrum of growth initiatives.
What You'll Do
Working alongside senior team members, you will:
- Shape and execute data-driven growth, marketing, and sales strategies for major consumer goods and B2B clients
- Gather and standardize marketing, sales, and revenue data; perform deep-dive analyses to extract insights
- Formulate hypotheses, test them rigorously, and construct actionable strategies for our clients
- Present your findings and strategic roadmaps directly to clients
- Support the implementation of recommendations-ensuring we drive real, measurable outcomes
What you will bring
We're looking for strategic thinkers with a keen consulting edge:
- Educational excellence: Bachelor's degree and a Master's in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field with strong academic record.
- Consulting experience: 2-3 years of experience in management consulting, strategy consulting, or in a corporate strategy / commercial excellence / RGM team
- Analytical mindset: Experience devising and implementing data-driven marketing and / or sales and / or strategy solutions involving conceptualization and quantitative analytics.
- Critical Thinking: Proven ability in critical thinking and solution creation. A structured, hypothesis-driven problem-solving approach, balanced with creativity and adaptability. Organized self-starter who can think methodically and pivot when business needs demand fresh ideas
- Time management: Exceptional time management to meet responsibilities in a complex and largely autonomous work environment.
- Strong communicator and facilitator: Able to convey complex concepts concisely and confidently to cross-functional teams. Fluent in English, both verbally and writing, with the ability to adjust your style to suit different perspectives and seniority levels.
- Leadership in action: Demonstrated initiative-either professionally or through extracurricular leadership roles
- Team player: Skilled at collaborating across diverse stakeholder groups and seniority levels
- International mobility: Willing to travel internationally dependent on project and client needs.
