Location: CambridgeshireSalary: £30,000 to £40,000Benefits: Bonus, company car and pension

An established global manufacturer is looking to appoint a Junior Account Manager to join its growing commercial team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual who wants to develop their commercial experience within a large international business. The position will initially focus on account management and customer development, with clear scope to progress into a more proactive sales and new business role.

The Role

• Manage and develop relationships with existing customer accounts
• Support the wider sales team with customer activity and commercial projects
• Work alongside four experienced Account Managers
• Shadow the external sales team to build market, product and customer knowledge
• Develop relationships with major manufacturing customers
• Identify opportunities to increase account value and improve customer service
• Build the commercial skills required to progress into a proactive sales role
• Take part in structured training and development

The Candidate

• Ideally around two years of commercial, sales or account management experience
• Strong graduates with the right attitude and ambition will also be considered
• Commercially driven with a genuine interest in developing a long term sales career
• Confident building relationships with customers and internal teams
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Passionate, ambitious and motivated by progression
