Join Our Team as a Clinical Duty Shift ManagerWe're looking for an experienced and dedicated Clinical Duty Shift Manager (CDSM) to join our Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) Operational Delivery Team. This is a key role responsible for real-time clinical resource management, ensuring safe, effective and high-quality service delivery across our IUC/111 network.

What you'll be doing- Providing clinical advice and guidance to contact centre sites.
- Working closely with the non-clinical Duty Shift Manager to maintain safe patient services.
- Acting as a central point of contact for network operations during live service delivery.
- Monitoring real-time performance KPI data and reacting to demand appropriately.
- Completing management reports and clinical documentation throughout the shift.
- Managing escalation processes and communicating service triggers (OPEL framework).
- Overseeing staff adherence via workforce management tools.
- Conducting risk assessment of CAS and 111 clinical call-back queues.
- Managing clinician resources effectively, including patient consultations and safety functions.
- Supporting sites with meetings, audits, and training as operationally feasible.
- Leading Bronze-level responses during adverse incidents and supporting BCP/incident drills.
- NHS Pathways Licensed Advisor
- Current NMC or HCPC registration
- Live operational resource management
- Clinical management in IUC/111
- Major incident & resilience planning
- Real-time clinical service delivery
- Auditing and risk management
- Calm, confident and effective decision-maker
- Strong communication skills
- Adaptable, resilient and comfortable with rapid change
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation abilities
- Able to work with multi-disciplinary teams
