IT Project Leader - German vacancy for our Luxembourg-based client in the Financial Services sector

Your tasks:

• Lead and coordinate IT projects from initiation through completion.

• Define and clarify project scope, including the development of project plans, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.

• Identify project needs such as resources, team involvement, and interdepartmental coordination.

• Assign tasks, provide direction, and motivate team members.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

• Monitor and document project progress and changes to meet objectives.

• Analyze and manage project risks.

• Report project status and ensure all stakeholders are informed throughout all project stages.

• Adhere to internal project delivery frameworks and governance standards.

Your experience/knowledge:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience managing IT projects in the financial or technology sector.

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and governance processes.

• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and JIRA.

• Experience with project documentation, reporting, and quality control.

• Analytical and structured mindset with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Experience with Avaloq Core Banking software is considered an advantage.

• Fluent in German and English (French considered an advantage).
