Role: IT Manager (E-commerce & Systems)
Location: Halesowen (Hybrid - 3 Days On-Site Weekly)
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

A well established UK distribution business is seeking a technically strong and hands on IT Manager to oversee its technology environment across two West Midlands sites. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a practical, operational IT position with a heavy emphasis on E-commerce platforms and business critical applications.
You'll be responsible for maintaining stable systems, improving application performance, and ensuring that both ERP and E-commerce platforms continue to support daily operations effectively. The organisation values individuals who are honest, forthright, and capable of coordinating others without being heavy handed.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day to day IT operations across two sites and their remote sales operations.
• Oversee support and enhancement of ERP and E-commerce applications.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve system and application issues.
• Manage user administration, access control, and application configuration.
• Coordinate upgrades, integrations, and system improvement initiatives.
• Work with external partners, suppliers, and vendors on fixes and enhancements.
• Support reporting, dashboards, and data driven decision making.
• Streamline processes and contribute to continuous improvement across IT systems.

• Strong background in system/application support, ideally across ERP and E-commerce.
• Technical understanding of integrations, data flows, and platform configuration.
• Experience coordinating IT activity across multiple stakeholders or sites.
• Straightforward communication style with an honest, pragmatic approach.
• Experience supporting technology within distribution, retail, or operational environments.

• Knowledge of APIs, web technologies, or system integrations.
• Experience with automation, reporting tools, or workflow improvements.
• Familiarity with fast paced commercial or product led environments.
