Project Context

The client is delivering a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation within a global manufacturing environment.

The SAP Project Manager will take ownership of delivery governance, planning, and execution across SAP and wider IT work-streams leading up to the 2027 go-live.

This role requires a strong delivery-focused leader capable of coordinating international stakeholders, managing risks, and ensuring programme milestones are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of SAP project streams within S/4HANA programme

• Manage project scope, timelines, risks, budget, and delivery governance

• Coordinate cross-functional SAP and IT teams

• Drive programme execution aligned with business transformation goals

• Manage stakeholder communication across business and technical teams

• Oversee system integration, testing, and deployment phases

• Ensure adherence to SAP project methodologies and standards

• Support preparation toward S/4HANA Go-Live (Feb 2027)

• Facilitate steering committee updates and executive reporting

Required Experience

• 7+ years experience as an SAP Project Manager

• Proven delivery experience on SAP implementation or transformation programmes

• Strong exposure to SAP S/4HANA projects

• Experience managing projects within manufacturing environments

• Strong IT project delivery background alongside SAP functional teams

• Experience managing distributed/remote international teams

• Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills

• Fluent English communication skills

• SAP Activate methodology experience

• Programme or multi-stream delivery exposure

• Experience managing system integrations

• Agile/Hybrid delivery experience

• Previous S/4HANA go-live delivery
