The Role
We're looking for anInvestor Relations Manager to join our Finance team and work closely with senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives across corporate finance, investor relations, and fundraising. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-impact projects that will help shape the future of Monzo!
You'll report to the Director of Investor Relations and collaborate with C-suite leaders, as well as teams across Finance, Product, Technology, Legal, and external advisors.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams across Finance, Communications, Strategy, and the CEO Office to analyse financial performance and key business developments for use in investor communications, and to support the execution of financial strategy initiatives.
- Providing financial analysis and project management support for critical corporate finance and fundraising activities.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with selected investors and supporting shareholder engagement through meetings, calls, and events.
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the Investor Relations program, including cap table oversight and the creation and distribution of regular and ad-hoc investor updates.
- Conducting in-depth market research and competitive benchmarking to identify key trends in financial performance and industry dynamics, helping to shape and strengthen Monzo's equity story.
- You have proven experience in strategic or analytical roles such as investment banking, equity research, management consulting, or investing (PE/VC).
- You bring strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of financial statements and a passion for working with spreadsheets.
- Project management is second nature to you - you're experienced in driving strategic initiatives, working across teams, and streamlining complex processes.
- You're a confident communicator, comfortable engaging both verbally and in writing with internal stakeholders and external audiences.
- Experience with investor communications, the fintech or banking space is a plus, but not required.
