Position

Child, Young People and Family Involvement Worker (CASCADE). Internal applicants only - Cardiff University employees only.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice, guidance and support to staff within and beyond CASCADE in relation to the involvement of children, young people, parents and carers in research.
• Lead the established CASCADE Voices young people group and the Parents' Research advisory group.
• Work on individual projects to involve those with lived experience and explore opportunities for development across the centre.
• Travel across Wales as required and be flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends to meet research project needs.
• Support the public involvement infrastructure funded by HCRW.

Employment details

Part time (31.5 hours per week), fixed term contract from 1 August 2026 to 31 March 2028.

Salary: £33,951 - £36,636 per annum (pro rata for part time hours, Grade 5) with annual increments up to the top of the pay scale.
