Front Desk Administrator

Job Description

Part time role, 20 hours a week Monday to Friday (4 hours a day). Working 20 hours a week, 4 hours per day on a 2 week rota basis: Week 1 - 8am 12pm, Week 2 - 2pm 6pm. Eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level. Location: Faslane, Helensburgh. Contract type: Permanent. Time type: Part time.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring all calls are answered in a professional and timely manner and redirected as appropriate.
  • Welcoming visitors on site and signposting as necessary to the relevant department.
  • Receiving, sorting and dispatching mail and acting on deliveries.
  • Ensuring building security is maintained/adhered to at all times and recording and logging all visitors appropriately on entry and exit.
  • Updating the digital welcoming screen daily with course arrival information and welcoming messages.
  • Ensuring all relevant Ministry of Defence (MOD) databases are kept updated.
  • Providing administrative support to the training course teams.
Qualifications (Essential)
  • Previous front of house, receptionist or administrative experience.
  • Team player with initiative to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Confident ability to engage with customers and other teams.
  • Good administrative skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and openness to learn different IT applications.
  • Ability to work shift pattern and weekends.
