Interim Chief Financial Officer

A fast-scaling, private equity-backed business in the manufacturing and energy infrastructure sector is seeking an experienced Interim CFO to support its next phase of growth and transformation.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced CFO who can lead the finance function through significant change - driving improved financial rigour, partnering with commercial teams, and supporting a major ERP implementation.
You'll work closely with the CEO and investors, helping to build a more structured, PE-ready organisation.

The role includes:

• Leading audit preparation and delivering robust financial controls and reporting.
• Driving financial planning, cash forecasting, and working capital management.
• Partnering with Sales and Commercial teams to improve performance and profitability.
• Supporting ERP implementation and optimising finance processes.
• Developing the finance team and embedding a business partnering culture.
• Supporting broader business change - including post-acquisition integration and operational readiness.
• Building strong investor reporting and relationships.
• Collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams.

Candidate profile:

• Experienced CFO with strong track record in private equity-backed, scaling businesses.
• Audit readiness
• Financial planning and analysis
• ERP / systems implementation
• Cash flow and margin management
• Investor reporting
• Enjoys dynamic, scale-up environments and problem solving.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
• Commercially minded and able to work across the business.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, environmental services, or project-based sectors is a plus.
