Job Description
The In House Pensions Solicitor will be:
- Identifying and mitigating legal risk across DB/DC schemes
- Drafting and approving scheme docs, commercial agreements, policy and procedures
- Supporting colleagues on scheme design changes, disputes, and investments
- Providing legal counsel, second line compliance assurance
- Developing and delivering legal training for colleagues
- Managing relationships with external legal advisors
- Advising on legal/regulatory changes and governance issues
The Successful Applicant
The In House Pensions Solicitor should be:
- A solicitor (or equivalent) with 2+ years PQE
- Experienced in drafting and advising on defined benefit pension schemes
- Skilled in dispute resolution relating to schemes
- Familiar with pension investments and defined contribution arrangements
