Our Bowen store is seeking an Interim Assistant Bakery Manager (12 month contract) to play an integral role in making all the bakery magic happen! Alongside our Bakery Manager, you'll be responsible for training, placing orders with distributors, creating delicious displays, and guiding your passionate bakery team to excellence every day! If you're a natural-born leader with a "can-dough" attitude, we want to hear from you!

About the Job:

• You'll train, manage, and motivate a team to ensure efficiency and productivity
• You'll support in daily scheduling needs and coordination
• You'll learn ordering and inventory
• You'll communicate to your team on performance, policies and pertinent issues

The Working Conditions:

• Fast paced, hands on bakery environment with regular lifting, standing, and early morning start times
• Frequent coordination with your team while balancing physical tasks, training, and administrative responsibilities
• Exposure to warm temperatures, bakery equipment, and peak period demands during holidays and busy seasons

• Must have open availability, including mornings, weekends, and holidays

Pay for this job:

Pay:CA$23.00-CA$29.50 per hour

Starting Range: $23.00-$24.75

Most new team members start within this range, depending on their experience and skills.

Growth Range: Up to $29.50

There's room to grow! Annual performance reviews provide opportunities to move up within this range over time.
