Information Governance Officer

Role: Information Governance Officer

Location : London (Remote)

Length: 3 Months

Day Rate: £180-200 Per Day - Inside IR35

Experience: Must have experience working within NHS.

We are looking for an experienced IG Officer who will act as a critical friend to our clinical and technical teams, ensuring that all of our teams operate safely and legally when it comes to data. The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing ad hoc advice and guidance, developing training plans, leading on the production and maintenance of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA), our Information Asset Register (IAR) and responses to requests under UK GDPR.

• Compliance & Policy: Maintain IG policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring adherence to UK GDPR, Data Protection Act, and other regulations.
• Risk Management: Facilitate Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), manage information risk, and maintain Information Asset Registers (IARs).
• Data Subject Rights: Handle SARs, FOI requests, and Access to Health Records requests.
• Reporting: Support submissions like the Data Security & Protection Toolkit (DSPT) and report on IG performanc
