The team

You will be joining the UK Professional Services team which is currently made up of 4 Consultants; Tasha, Abbie, Anna, Sharmeen with Ella heading up the team. We are looking for one more team member to make us a team of 6. As a team, we often work closely as advisors for each other on projects and regularly help each other out where possible.

Role overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail oriented Implementation Consultant or Associate Consultant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with clear communication skills, a passion for problem solving, and a natural curiosity. As a Consultant, you will become an expert in UpSlide and the financial services industry whilst delivering improved workflows and productivity to our clients. You will quickly be onboarded to be autonomous in delivering your own client projects and additionally providing support to Senior Consultants on more complex ones. A big part of your role will be ensuring clients use the tool and set the account up for success while maintaining our 98% renewal rate.

Your responsibilities Delivery & Adoption
  • Lead client onboarding and configuration of UpSlide on Microsoft platforms, applying structured project management to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Run bespoke and impactful training sessions for clients to introduce them to the tool and secure adoption.
  • Analyse client needs and tailor solutions that drive measurable impact.
  • Run engaging training sessions and Q&A follow ups to ensure successful adoption and retention.
Client Partnership & Relationship Management
  • Build trusted relationships with clients, acting as a strategic advisor and advocate for their long term success.
  • Communicate clearly and empathetically throughout the project lifecycle, navigating complex conversations with professionalism and emotional intelligence.
  • Celebrate client milestones and proactively gather feedback to strengthen partnerships.
Innovation & Solutions Development
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design scalable, creative solutions that challenge conventional approaches.
  • Submit product feedback and feature requests based on client insights.
  • Contribute to the UpSlide user community through articles, videos, and knowledge sharing.
Business Development & Advisory
  • Spot commercial opportunities and share insights with Sales and Pre Sales teams.
  • Understand the financial impact of your work and integrate commercial reasoning into client discussions.
  • Stay curious about industry trends and client challenges to inform strategic planning.
Qualifications Required for Consultant position
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience either working in SaaS or in the Financial industry.
Required for both Associate Consultant and Consultant position
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • A client centric mindset.
  • Clear emotional intelligence, possessing empathy naturally, and the ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and with clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident communicator who can explain complex things clearly.
  • The ability to switch contexts quickly and manage multiple priorities.
  • Curious, creative, bold, and resourceful behaviours.
  • Natural problem solving skills and an interest in navigating complexity.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • The ability to thrive with responsibility and work both independently and within a team.
Preferred
  • Experience handling customer escalations.
  • Exposure to giving training sessions, particularly on software.
  • Experience in coding, specifically JavaScript.
  • Interest or experience in financial services.
  • Commercially curious mindset.
  • A second language.
