ICT Director/Fluent in French, Dutch and English/Brussels

Excellent freelance opportunity for a trilingual ICT Director, who will be responsible for delivering ICT services to the HR and Finance business domains. You will also be responsible for the overall financial management of ICT budgets and report directly to the CIO.

Duties:

• Be a member of the ICT management team and translate the CM Group strategy into ICT policy, the operating model of the ICT organisation, and specifically the department's financial policy.
• Actively participate in the governance bodies within your business domains and translate domain strategies into tactical initiatives. You monitor relevant developments and trends and position yourself as a full-fledged business partner.
• Develop and coordinate policies within your department and provide focused leadership to your team, both in day-to-day operations (run) and in projects (build).
• Ensure that the applications within your business domains remain future-proof and translate this into a clear multi-year roadmap.
• Overall responsibility for the application landscape within your business domains and for the financial management of the ICT department.
• Build and maintain sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers, and organise public procurement and tendering processes.
• Ensure clear and effective internal and external communication.
• Monitor compliance with agreed service-level agreements (SLAs) and guarantee high-quality services for internal and external customers.

Profile:

• You hold a university degree or have equivalent experience, with at least seven years of experience in an ICT development management role within a large organisation.
• You have experience managing the finances of large-scale ICT environments and leading organisational change.
• You are a strong people leader with a clear vision and broad ICT expertise. You inspire, coach and motivate your teams and demonstrate strong, credible leadership.
• You build bridges easily with other management teams and operate confidently in a broad stakeholder environment. Your communication style encourages collaboration, making you a unifying and inspiring coach.
• You also have experience in IT service management, project management and application development using AI, preferably in environments involving large-scale applications.
• You are strongly results-oriented and driven to help shape CM's continued development through ICT.
• You combine this with a strong customer focus, while also investing in your employees' development and the continuous optimisation of processes.
• You have experience working in an agile environment (Scrum) and apply this successfully within an organisational context.
• You are fluent in multiple languages (Dutch, French and English) and are comfortable operating in a broad stakeholder environment, both internally and externally.
