HVAC Engineer

My client is an established FM company looking for a qualified and experienced HVAC engineer to join a team on multiple sites in Daventry. This is a great role for someone seeking progression and training opportunities. The role is mobile, working Monday to Friday (8 AM to 5 PM).

Main duties will include:

• Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and completing reports
• Responding to reactive and emergency breakdown tasks
• Participating in a call-out rota for out-of-hours support
• Overseeing visiting subcontractors regarding work standards and health & safety
• Assisting with other properties within the portfolio as needed
• Adhering to company policies and procedures
• Completing all work-related documentation accurately and on time
• Performing work safely and diligently
• Complying with health and safety policies
• Daily PPM and reactive maintenance tasks including UPS systems, plumbing, drainage, boiler checks, cooling towers, fan coil units, AHUs, fans, and heating pumps

The ideal candidate will have:

• F-gas qualification
• NVQ Level 3 in HVAC/Mechanical/AC
• NVQ Level 3 in refrigeration or air conditioning with F-gas
• NVQ Level 3 in heating, ventilation, and F-gas
