Opportunity to join a larger Higher Education Client within Manchester as part of their busy IT support team.

Your new role
The role is fully based within the client's face-to-face service for staff, keen to get an individual with a solid IT foundation, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.

What you'll need to succeed
To provide advice or resolve customer issues where this is possible from a broad range of knowledge across the University's range of IT services and systems. This will include assisting customers to resolve problems themselves, such as helping them to change software settings etc.As a primary point of contact for staff and students, to receive, log and escalate service requests, ensuring that calls are handled in a customer-friendly and professional manner.
To follow procedures for the logging, tracking, escalation and documentation of calls in conjunction with the ISDS Service Desk.
To deliver and support IT services, and to take part in their development, as part of a campus-based team.
To follow standard diagnosis routines to identify, prioritise and provide a fix for IT, AV and IP Telephony problems

What you'll get in return
IT Support - Contract to end of September-35 hours p/w - 5 days p/w on site Manchester - £20 p/hr
