Milk Education Liverpool is seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join our growing network of secondary schools. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Humanities Teacher who is committed to delivering inspiring lessons across subjects such as History, Geography, RE, or Social Sciences.
As a Humanities Teacher, you will play an essential role in helping students explore the world around them, develop critical thinking skills, and engage with a rich, varied curriculum. We are looking for a Humanities Teacher who is confident, enthusiastic, and able to bring their subject knowledge to life in the classroom.
Responsibilities of the Humanities Teacher:- Deliver high quality Humanities lessons that motivate and challenge students
- Plan and prepare engaging schemes of work across relevant Humanities subjects
- Assess student progress and provide effective feedback
- Manage classroom behaviour consistently and positively
- Collaborate with your department and wider school team
- Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment activities
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or suitable teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Humanities subjects at secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge within a Humanities discipline
- Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
- A passion for helping young people achieve their full potential
