Humanities Teacher - Liverpool

Milk Education Liverpool is seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join our growing network of secondary schools. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Humanities Teacher who is committed to delivering inspiring lessons across subjects such as History, Geography, RE, or Social Sciences.

As a Humanities Teacher, you will play an essential role in helping students explore the world around them, develop critical thinking skills, and engage with a rich, varied curriculum. We are looking for a Humanities Teacher who is confident, enthusiastic, and able to bring their subject knowledge to life in the classroom.

Responsibilities of the Humanities Teacher:
  • Deliver high quality Humanities lessons that motivate and challenge students
  • Plan and prepare engaging schemes of work across relevant Humanities subjects
  • Assess student progress and provide effective feedback
  • Manage classroom behaviour consistently and positively
  • Collaborate with your department and wider school team
  • Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment activities
Requirements for the Humanities Teacher Role:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or suitable teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Humanities subjects at secondary level
  • Strong subject knowledge within a Humanities discipline
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
  • A passion for helping young people achieve their full potential
