Job Description
Health & Safety Manager - Milton Keynes

Reporting to head office 1-2 days per week, with travel to project sites within a 2-hour radius.

Responsibilities
  • Leading and improving the company's Health, Safety & Environmental systems across the business
  • Supporting construction, fit out, M&E and small works projects from pre construction through to delivery
  • Producing and reviewing RAMS and ensuring compliance with UK H&S legislation and CDM regulations
  • Carrying out site inspections, audits and incident investigations
  • Delivering toolbox talks, inductions and H&S training
  • Working closely with subcontractors, site teams and clients to maintain high safety standards
  • Producing monthly HSE reports, compliance records and supporting tender submissions
Qualifications
  • NEBOSH General, Construction Certificate or Diploma
  • Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and CDM Regulations 2015
  • Experience working within construction, fit out, building services or engineering environments
  • Experience producing RAMS, carrying out audits and leading investigations
  • Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with clients, subcontractors and operational teams
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites
  • Experience with ISO 45001 management systems would be beneficial
  • IOSH membership or working towards CMIOSH would be advantageous
