Reed HR are delighted to be supporting a highly respected international organisation in the recruitment of an experienced HR Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a purpose-led organisation with a global presence, supporting employees and managers across multiple European locations. The organisation is committed to creating a positive impact through its work and is seeking an HR professional who is passionate about delivering an outstanding people experience.
This is a broad and varied HR position, offering the opportunity to combine operational HR delivery with the leadership of key people initiatives across Europe.
Working closely with managers, employees and senior stakeholders, you will provide expert HR advice and support across the full employee lifecycle while helping to develop leadership capability and drive best practice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing complex employee relations matters, including absence, wellbeing, performance, grievance and disciplinary cases.
- Coaching and supporting managers on a wide range of people-related issues.
- Leading annual performance review and talent management processes.
- Supporting employee development and succession planning activities.
- Managing recruitment and selection processes to attract high-quality talent.
- Reviewing, developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Leading employee wellbeing and engagement initiatives.
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure efficient HR administration and payroll processes.
- Collaborating with international colleagues on wider HR projects and initiatives.
- Line managing and supporting an HR administration function.
We are keen to speak with experienced HR professionals who enjoy building strong relationships and providing pragmatic, commercially focused people solutions.
You will have:
- Significant experience in a generalist HR role.
- Strong employee relations experience, including performance, absence, disciplinary and grievance management.
- Experience coaching and influencing managers at all levels.
- Experience managing recruitment and selection activities.
- Experience reviewing and improving HR policies and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation.
- Experience working within international or culturally diverse environments.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
Desirable qualities:
- Experience supporting European employee populations, particularly within the Netherlands and/or France.
- CIPD Level 7 qualification.
- Experience working within consultancy, not-for-profit, environmental or professional services environments.
