Job Description
Supply Chain Coordinator (Hybrid working, 3 days office, 2 days WFH)
Job Purpose
To take ownership within the supply chain and purchasing team of planning, placing PO's and expediting goods and services required by the business, You'll be instrumental in supplier management, cost negotiation and inventory availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Process & expedite purchase orders accurately and efficiently
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve shortages, delays, quality issues, and invoice queries.
- Expedite outstanding purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.
- Monitor supplier performance, quality, and delivery schedules.
- Initiate supplier negotiations for pricing, delivery, and service levels.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels
- Produce purchasing reports using Excel
- Streamlining international inbound / outbound movements
- Identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Assist with sourcing & developing new suppliers
Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a supply chain and purchasing role ideally within manufacturing (though not essential)
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
- OTIF
