Estate Services Officer
- Contract: Temporary, Full-Time
- Location: Requires travel between sites

Are you someone who takes pride in keeping communities safe, clean, and well-maintained? We're looking for a proactive and reliable Estate Services Officer to join a busy housing team and play a key role in delivering high-quality estate services to residents.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in estate services, caretaking, grounds maintenance, cleaning, housing, facilities management, environmental services, or property maintenance who enjoy working outdoors and making a visible difference to local communities.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Conduct routine inspections of housing estates, communal blocks, and surrounding areas.
- Identify and report health & safety concerns, fire risks, fly-tipping, anti-social behaviour, repairs, and environmental issues.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, including photographic evidence where required.
- Manage the removal and storage of abandoned items in line with relevant procedures.
- Monitor and tackle cleanliness issues, litter, and waste accumulation throughout estates.
- Work closely with housing teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure issues are resolved quickly.
- Carry out litter picking, sweeping, and general estate cleanliness duties.
- Coordinate the removal of larger waste deposits and fly-tipping.
- Help create safe, clean, and attractive environments for residents.
- Respond to estate-related issues and service requests as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in estate services, caretaking, cleaning, facilities, housing, grounds maintenance, or a similar field.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Knowledgeable about health & safety responsibilities within communal environments.
- Able to identify issues and take a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Organised, dependable, and capable of working independently.
- Confident using basic IT systems to complete reports and record actions.
- Passionate about delivering excellent services to residents and local communities.
Essential Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Own vehicle with business insurance (or willingness to obtain business insurance).
- Ability to travel regularly between sites.
- Awareness of Health & Safety
