As a Reservations & Events Assistant you will be taking ownership of all meetings & events within the hotel, while also supporting reservations. As an ambassador to the hotel, you will be an expert on all the facilities on offer with the ability to advise guests based on their individual needs. You will also record and process all enquiries that are made by phone, email, or face to face to ensure all guests are dealt with efficiently and in a timely manner. You'll work to ensure that guests have a seamless experience when booking their events and accommodations and that all reservations are accurate and up to date.
This includes managing reservation systems, communicating with guests and other departments within the hotel, and ensuring that all reservations and events bookings are properly documented.
What do we need from you?- Excellent communication skills: You'll have excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders, team members, and customers and able to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Analytical and problem solving skills: You'll need to have strong analytical and problem solving skills to identify issues and implement solutions. You should be able to use data to make informed decisions.
- Attention to detail: You will have a keen eye for detail able to review reservations and ensure that they are accurate and up to date. You'll be able to identify and resolve any issues that may arise and analyse complex data.
- Industry experience: You'll need to have extensive industry experience to understand the specific challenges and opportunities within the hotel and develop strategies to drive success. You should also have a deep understanding of the industry's regulations and compliance requirements.
