Holiday Cottage Cleaner 12.75 per hour

Would you like to join our team to care for our holiday cottages and ensure our guests have a fantastic stay at Wallington? We're looking for a Holiday Cottage Cleaner to join us! The post is based at Wallington (NE61 4AR), near Cambo, Morpeth.Wallington is within easy commuting distance of Morpeth, Rothbury, Otterburn, Ponteland and the villages in the surrounding area. Internally, you'll be known as a 'Holidays Operation Assistant'.

Salary: £12.75 per hour

Contract Duration: Permanent

Working Hours: You will work 6 hours per week. The main changeover days are Monday (essential for this post), Friday and Saturday, however, short breaks mean that changeover days can also fall on other days of the week. We don't work Sundays, and rotas are issued in advance. You'll need to be available between 10am and 4pm (there will be flexibility with the finish time if you have prior commitments) and free parking is available if you drive. You would also have the opportunity to work additional hours at the cottages, or in some of our other wonderful locations across the North East.

Interview Date: Interviews are scheduled for Friday 21st August,

Immediate start is available, with a full induction and training given.

What it's like to work here

Holidays in the North East continue to be very popular all year round, with high levels of occupancy and many returning guests.The five cottages on the Northumberland coastline are set in a location with amazing landscapes and history, and you'll reap the benefits of working in such gorgeous surroundings. We are a small team and are immensely proud of our cottages and the standard we provide for our guests. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and having an eye for detail and great communication skills are always an advantage.

On changeover days, you'll make sure that everything's pristine and ready for the next guests to arrive. This will include making sure the cottage is thoroughly cleaned, well-presented and welcoming. We'd also like you to keep an eye out for anything that's not as it should be, and report any repairs or odd jobs that need doing. If you need to, you'll also replace any broken items from the store supplies.

Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided for all teams, and extra measures are in place to protect staff.
