Validation Test Engineer

Description

Join a high-performing engineering team in Cork on a 12-month onsite contract with strong extension potential. You'll be responsible for hardware testing, system validation, troubleshooting, and data analysis, helping ensure the quality and performance of enterprise server and storage solutions.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of the multiple drive testing in PowerEdge Servers

Analyze data for violations of known specifications, potential violations and overall test criteria

Work with the team to analyze issues, implement and validate fixes and drive those to closure in partnership with our suppliers.

Troubleshoot and repairs systems to the component level.

Set up, configure, and test prototype systems and software. In addition, assemble and disassemble drives and DUTs to be tested in Servers

Set up, operate, and calibrates electronic test equipment, and verify its working condition. Ability to rack Servers, connect cables and test for functionality

Data analytics and reporting to higher management and stakeholders

Essential Requirements

Desirable Requirements

Knowledge in Storage Technology and HDD/SSD is desired, but not a requirement
