This is a Full Time, 24 Months Fixed Term Contract based in Birmingham with hybrid working.

What you will be doing

Between 2020 and 2024, Historic England delivered the HSHAZ programme which revitalised the high streets of 67 towns across England.The programme helped create vibrant places and community spaces by investing in building and the public realm, creating new partnerships, empowering communities and celebrating local culture through heritage.

Historic England will now be delivering a new programme in Dudley modelled on HSHAZ, with a focus on demonstrating the role that the historic environment has to play in providing much needed residential accommodation in town centres.The programme will be looking to convert vacant and under-used upper floors in the centre of Dudley for residential use, helping to bring vibrancy and life into the town centre.

The primary purpose of this role is to support the Regional Director, Head of Region and the Regions Leadership to develop, programme manage and deliver the Dudley HSHAZ programme.The role will coordinate delivery of the project, internally and with external stakeholders.

Who we are looking for

Experience of managing budgets.

Experience of evaluation, monitoring and reporting complex projects or programmes.

A proven track record in developing positive and effective working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
