Job Title: Community Safety, ASB & Enforcement Team Leader
Salary: £45,624 - £52,038 per annum
Grade:F
Contract Type:Permanent
Working Hours:37 hours per week

As the Community Safety, ASB & Enforcement Team Leader, you will:
Operational Leadership- Lead, motivate and supervise ASB and Environmental Enforcement Officers.
- Oversee day to day service delivery, ensuring lawful, consistent and high quality enforcement.
- Manage escalated, complex or high risk cases and associated complaints.
- Support the development and delivery of ASB and environmental enforcement strategies.
- Analyse performance data and trends to drive targeted interventions and service improvement.
- Ensure robust governance, compliance, and risk management across team operations.
- Act as a key operational contact for Police, housing providers, contractors and community partners.
- Take part in public engagement, reassurance and problem solving initiatives to reduce ASB and improve local environments.
- Deliver and oversee enforcement actions including notices, FPNs and evidence gathering for legal proceedings.
- Ensure compliance with legislation including ASB powers, PSPOs, the Environmental Protection Act and Highways Act
You will be an experienced operational leader with a strong background in ASB, community safety, environmental enforcement, or a similar field. You will have:
- Significant experience leading teams in enforcement or ASB environments, including social housing.
- Strong decision making, conflict resolution and communication skills.
- Experience dealing with complex, sensitive or confrontational situations.
- An ability to use data to drive performance and operational planning.
- Commitment to the Council's values of accountability, collaboration, and responsiveness.
- A full UK driving licence.
You will be confident in balancing robust enforcement with proportionate, community focused approaches that support long term solutions.
