HGV2 Class 2 Driver

HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER MULTI-DROP DELIVERY / BEDFORD (MK42)

We are recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a well-established logistics operation based in Bedford. This role involves multi-drop deliveries of kegs and beverage supplies to pubs, restaurants and hotels.

This is a Temp to Perm opportunity offering consistent weekday work with immediate starts available.

• Role: HGV Class 2 Driver (Category C)
• Contract Type: Temp to Perm
• Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
• Start Time: Between 5:00 am and 7:00 am
• Hours: Average 10-hour shifts
• Driver's Mate Provided

PAY

Standard Rate Weekday (MonFri)

• Basic Hourly Rate: £17.79
• Working Time Regulations (WTR): £2.42
• Total Hourly Pay (Inclusive): £20.21
• Overtime: Not applicable
• Weekend Work: Not required
• Pay Frequency: Weekly

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

• Completing multi-drop deliveries.
• Delivering kegs and beverage supplies to pubs, restaurants and hotels.
• Working alongside a Driver's Mate.
• Using a sack barrow and pump truck to assist with deliveries.
• Ensuring all deliveries are accurate and accounted for.
• Conducting daily vehicle checks.
• Maintaining professional communication with customers and the transport team.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Valid CPC Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum 6 penalty points (No DR or IN endorsements).
• Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, flexible and professional attitude.
• Comfortable with manual handling.
