Our client is a well-established, leading accountancy firm with offices across the UK, providing comprehensive services across accounting, audit, tax and advisory to a wide range of clients across various sectors.

Description

Responsibilities include:

• Leading on audit assignments from planning to completion
• Audit field work and visiting client sites, coordinating the team based on client requirements and deadlines
• Supervising junior members of the team; providing training, feedback and support
• Monitoring ongoing jobs against budget and reporting to the Audit manager on progress and any actions required
• Ensuring compliance with UK accounting and auditing standards
• Supporting in the delivery of targets

Profile

The successful applicant will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) or qualified by experience with proven audit experience gained within accountancy practice working with clients across different industries. You will have strong technical accounting knowledge, as well as excellent organisation and communication skills.
