HGV Mechanic

We are looking for a reliable, flexible, professional qualified HGV Mechanic, who wants to be a part of a forward-thinking team in a busy commercial Workshop.

HGV Mechanic duties will include:

General servicing, repairs and maintenance
Vehicle and trailer inspections
Running defects
MOT preparation / presentation
Fault finding
Diagnostics
Complete all necessary documentation
Comply with good Health & Safety practice, all statutory requirements, Company policies and standard procedures
As a HGV technician you will also need to keep up to date with product knowledge

The successful HGV Mechanic should have:

Industry recognised qualifications, to include City & Guilds or NVQ Level Two or above in HGV
Experience gained in a similar role
A full UK driving licence
Happy to also consider self-employed applicants for this role
HGV licence preferential, but not essential

Your hours of work are:

Monday-Saturday 06:00-18:00 (flexible/negotiable)
20 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Your Pay PAYE:

Salary negotiable based on skills and experience
