HGV Class 1 Driver - Warrington

Pertemps are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client's busy Warrington depot. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing, regular work with competitive PAYE rates and a respected logistics partner.

What you'll be doing as a HGV Class 1 Driver:

• Safely loading and unloading cages of letters and parcels
• Working with both single and double-deck trailers, with some pushing and pulling involved
• Completing night trunking runs as part of a professional logistics operation

What we're looking for in a HGV Class 1 Driver:

• Minimum 1 years' HGV Class 1 driving experience, with recent Class 1 work within the last 6 months
• A valid C+E licence, CPC card, and digital tachograph card
• A maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)

The details of the HGV Class 1 Driver role:

• Shifts: Monday to Sunday (weekend availability needed)
• Start times: Various
• Shift length: Typically 10-12 hours
• Pay rates: From £19.98 to £22.89 per hour (PAYE)
• Contract type: Regular, ongoing work with consistent start times
