About the role

Balfour Beatty is seeking a Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Coordinator to support our portfolio of Power Transmission and Distribution projects across the North East of Scotland.

The role will support the Health, Safety and Wellbeing function by developing the skills, knowledge and experience needed to help drive HS&W performance. You will provide efficient and effective advice and support to meet, and where possible exceed, operational requirements while contributing to our Zero Harm objectives.

What you will be doing
  • Ad hoc business support including general enquires, assistance requests and referrals; content design; HS&W Conference and HS&W Roadshows.
  • Provide responses to bespoke bid questions on HS&W and assist the work winning team as required in collation of content.
  • Assist with the creation and updating of Office 365 HS&W Function and Zero Harm Campaign pages.
  • Administration of functional email inboxes and distribution lists.
  • Lead on the administration of the staff suggestion scheme (MyC) for the HS&W function.
  • Support the delivery of UK Zero Harm Strategy and associated action plans.
  • Weekly Best Practice and Incident Report administration.
  • Administrative support for TEPMP HS&W Director.
  • Provide technical administrative support and coordination for the HS&W team within respective areas.
  • Compile and coordinate HS&W reports for required areas of the business on a monthly basis.
  • Arrange travel as required for the wider HS&W function.
  • Coordinate and administrate the production of the HS&W digital reenactments to share lessons learned across the business.
  • Assist with coordination and organisation of the UK Supervisor Forums.
  • Update HS&W documentation in line with changes to the Business Management System.
