Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Resourcing Operations

  • Lead the operational resourcing strategy to ensure bench <10% and utilisation >85%.
  • Resolve allocation conflicts of consultants, balancing client needs, commercial priorities and employee satisfaction
  • Establish transparent resourcing processes with structured escalation management, enabling confident and fair decision-making
  • Implement scenario planning and agile resourcing mechanisms to manage demand shocks and maintain delivery continuity

Commercial & Financial Discipline

  • Drive robust governance to ensure a high percentage of billable hours are invoiced with write-offs consistently below 10%
  • Minimise PO underspend and optimise revenue capture across engagements
  • Oversee commercial prioritisation of resourcing to maximise return on investment and business performance

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Embed a strong compliance culture covering time tracking, skills management, and delivery status reporting
  • Ensure consistent and accurate operational reporting to reduce delivery risks
  • Monitor and improve adherence to delivery frameworks and standards

Skills & Workforce Planning

  • Maintain a forward-looking inventory of workforce skills to anticipate delivery gaps and proactively reduce bench risk
  • Align future talent supply with demand forecasts to enable long-term scalability
  • Enable case study production and contribute to improved cNPS (Client Net Promoter Score) through strong delivery governance

Stakeholder Leadership

  • Partner with Delivery, Commercial, Talent, and Client Success teams to balance growth objectives with operational excellence
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on delivery optimisation and resource planning
  • Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement within the Delivery Operations team.

Success Measures

  • Bench consistently maintained below 10%
  • Utilisation above 85%
  • Write-offs <10%
  • Reduced PO underspend across accounts
  • Increased rate of case study production
  • Improved cNPS scores
  • Visible compliance in time, skills, and delivery status tracking
  • Demonstrated agility in addressing demand shocks

  • Proven track record in delivery operations, resource management, or workforce planning within a consultancy, professional services, or talent-based organisation
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to optimise utilisation and revenue outcomes
  • Skilled in balancing operational discipline with agility in a fast-scaling environment
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills
  • Adept at building transparent processes that drive trust, compliance, and performance
  • Experience leading teams and embedding governance frameworks that deliver measurable impact
