Head of Structuring & Pricing

Technical Responsibilities

• Lead underwriting of new and renewal reinsurance transactions in line with internal guidelines
• Drive robust risk assessment; identify, analyse, and clearly communicate key risks
• Oversee disciplined pricing, including model development and P&L / balance sheet projections
• Structure tailored reinsurance solutions aligned to client needs (earnings, volatility, capital)
• Negotiate contract terms and ensure accurate deal structuring and documentation
• Monitor portfolio performance; report on in-force deals and address under-performance
• Partner closely with Actuarial, Finance, and Operations to ensure effective execution and oversight

Leadership & Commercial

• Lead and develop a high-performing team delivering Global P&C objectives
• Partner with senior leadership on business unit strategy
• Build strong broker and client relationships alongside underwriting teams to support growth and market positioning

• Extensive experience in reinsurance and/or insurance
• Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
