An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the NIHR Research Delivery Network (NIHR RDN) 'Workforce and Organisational Development' Function, where you will lead the delivery of the strategy and operational direction for the Research Delivery Workforce Development function.

Working across the RDN and beyond, including colleagues in the RRDNs, you will lead the delivery of the RDN commitments in government strategies and initiatives related to research delivery workforce development.

You will be responsible for leading the Research Delivery Workforce Development team to enable the development and delivery of workforce strategies, plans, and approaches to build the research capacity and capability of research delivery staff to optimise research delivery in all settings. This includes managing existing schemes and initiatives, as well as collaborating with stakeholders to co-design new interventions to embed strategic change.

This role will be based in the RDNCC office on Queen Street, Leeds. We work in a hybrid manner, with an expectation that all RDNCC staff spend at least 40% of their time in the office. We are also open to discussing other flexible working arrangements.
