Head of Procurement Excellence

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the end-to-end S2P (Source-to-Pay) workstream as well as the successful implementation and definition of processes, process transformations, change management and technology initiatives
• Selecting suitable IT systems and implement them to increase efficiency and automation
• Lead several projects as part of the S2P workstream
• Responsible for optimizing procurement processes through "modern" eProcurement
• Integrate and implement target processes at new or acquired locations
• Support, develop and coordinate key performance indicators and process performance indicators in connection with business process changes
• Responsible for the ongoing analysis, implementation, execution and monitoring of procurement processes
• Development of the global purchasing organization with a focus on the purchasing/corporate strategy and the derivation of common global goals in relation to processes, systems and projects in the S2P area
• Working with the purchasing management team and other members of the operations management team to develop and implement S2P initiatives, reduce transaction costs and increase efficiency within the company

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in process management, SCM/Procurement Excellence, Business Process Lead S2P or in a similar role in an international matrix environment - design and implementation of source-to-pay processes, systems and globally oriented workflows
• Extensive knowledge of source-to-pay technologies and tools such as eSourcing, eProcurement, contract management and supplier relationship management systems, preferably with iVALUA
• Passionate and a strong understanding of end-to-end source-to-pay processes, including strategic sourcing, supplier management and payment processes in a rapidly growing environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills combined to identify process inefficiencies and develop innovative solutions for the successful establishment of the new S2P system, with a focus on global alignment and cross-functional collaboration
• Strong project management skills to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a global matrix organization
