About Our Client 
This public sector organisation operates within the healthcare and regulatory domain. It is a medium-sized entity committed to ensuring quality and efficiency in its human resources practices.
Job Description- Manage the annual pay award process, including pay modelling options, and taking the lead and proactively engaging with Trade Unions.
- Develop and implement pay and reward strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
- Lead on the design and delivery of remuneration frameworks and incentive schemes.
- Provide expert advice on pay structures, job evaluation, and market benchmarking.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to address workforce planning needs.
- Ensure compliance with public sector regulations and policies.
- Analyse and report on pay and reward data to inform decision-making.
- Manage relationships with external partners and service providers.
- Monitor and adapt reward strategies to meet changing organisational needs.
A successful Head of Pay & Reward should have:
- Proven expertise in pay and reward within the public sector or civil service.
- Excellent understanding of excel - v-look ups, pivot tables, formulas.
- Strong understanding of job evaluation methodologies and market benchmarking.
- Experience in developing and implementing remuneration frameworks.
- Knowledge of public sector policies and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders effectively.
- Contract role paying between £58,983 - £66,386, depending on experience.
- 37 hours per week. 9.00am - 5.00pm
- Six month fixed term contract position initially offering flexibility and professional growth.
