Job Description
  • Develop and implement strategies for institutional donor engagement and funding acquisition.
  • Lead and manage the preparation of high-quality funding proposals and bids.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional donors and partners.
  • Monitor and evaluate funding opportunities, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Provide strategic guidance to the team on donor compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Oversee the preparation of donor reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align fundraising efforts with organisational priorities.
  • Stay informed of trends and developments in the not-for-profit funding landscape.
The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Institutional Funding should have:

  • Proven experience in institutional fundraising within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Strong knowledge of donor compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver successful funding proposals.
  • Exceptional relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in strategic planning and project management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
