Job Description- Develop and implement strategies for institutional donor engagement and funding acquisition.
- Lead and manage the preparation of high-quality funding proposals and bids.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional donors and partners.
- Monitor and evaluate funding opportunities, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
- Provide strategic guidance to the team on donor compliance and reporting requirements.
- Oversee the preparation of donor reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align fundraising efforts with organisational priorities.
- Stay informed of trends and developments in the not-for-profit funding landscape.
A successful Head of Institutional Funding should have:
- Proven experience in institutional fundraising within the not-for-profit sector.
- Strong knowledge of donor compliance and reporting requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver successful funding proposals.
- Exceptional relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in strategic planning and project management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
