Back 4 Good - Your future in Wexford - is sourcing a dynamic and experienced Head of Information Systems to lead and develop the digital infrastructure of a progressive organisation based in Wexford. This role is central to driving innovation, enhancing cyber resilience, and ensuring that technology is fully aligned with strategic organisational goals.

As Head of Information Systems, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall IT strategy, managing the delivery of robust business systems, and overseeing the digital transformation agenda. You will lead a multidisciplinary team covering system administration, cybersecurity, data management, and application development, ensuring best-in-class service delivery across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining an enterprise-level IT roadmap
• Leading the design and implementation of secure, scalable systems
• Managing IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships
• Driving a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
• Ensuring compliance with data protection and information security regulations
• Collaborating with key stakeholders to identify and implement digital opportunities

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a third-level qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, alongside at least 7 years' experience in IT leadership roles. Strong knowledge of IT governance, project management methodologies (e.g., Agile/PRINCE2), cloud technologies, and cybersecurity frameworks is essential. Excellent communication and leadership skills are also required.
